We landed at Heathrow bright and early and took the Tube to London to meet up with Jeni’s brother, Chris.

This was Jeni’s second, and my third, trip to London. We had crammed most of the touristy things in during our last trip so this time it was pretty chill.

We did check out Westminster Abbey one more time—that place is amazing. Otherwise, it was eating and drinking.

Weather-wise, we started with a typical London day—overcast skies. But London surprised us, we had blue sky for the second and third days. Not too bad - Chris claimed it was the first sunny day in the 7 months he’d been there (he was quite incredulous). You can see the contrast in the photos below. The instant the sun comes out, Londoners flock to the outdoors.
